Richard Jones, a local resident, snapped this incredible shot when his son accidentally startled a raccoon while walking through some palm fronds near the Ocklawaha River. As the raccoon dashed to escape, it ended up hopping onto the back of an unsuspecting alligator before quickly jumping off as the gator submerged into the water. 🐾💨

The photo, which has gone viral, shows the raccoon seemingly riding the alligator, adding an amusing and rare twist to the usual tense relationship between these two creatures.
