In a race against time, rescuers saved a hungry mom and her emaciated newborn puppies, just before it was too late. 🐶💔 This powerful rescue story reminds us how crucial the first few weeks of a puppy’s life are, and how vital proper care and nutrition are to their survival.

This abandoned mom gave birth to six puppies on the streets, but she was exhausted, and without the strength to care for her babies. Tragically, two of the puppies didn’t survive. But thanks to the quick actions of rescuers, the rest were given a fighting chance.

At first, the frightened mother dog didn’t trust her rescuers. As is common with abandoned dogs, she was scared and anxious, which led to signs of aggression. But the rescuers understood her fear and patiently worked to gain her trust. Eventually, they were able to rescue the whole family.

After the mom was given food and water, she regained her strength. With her newfound energy, she could nurse her puppies, providing them with the much-needed nourishment to survive. Slowly but surely, the puppies started to grow and thrive. Their eyes opened for the first time, and they began to gain weight.

Had the rescuers arrived any later, the outcome could have been much worse. This sweet mom likely hadn’t eaten in days before giving birth, and life on the street is tough for any dog, let alone one with newborns.
